Question : Problem: Dell LCD Monitor Repair

I am trying to repair a Dell LCD monitor. I am told it was part of a lightning strike. The Power Inverter board looks ok. All the solder is good and none of the capacitors are leaking. There are no lights on at all when plugged in. I was thinking of checking each component on the board. I can check resistors and capacitors but there are also transistors and other components. I am looking for any suggestions or advice as well as a good source for a replacement Power/Inverter board.
