Question : Problem: Motherboard system timer failed test

I'm running a  diagnostic on a computer, to diagnose an unrelated problem. But during its comprehensive tests, one of them was for "Motherboard System Timer" and it failed. How serious is this? The computer is actually having a Windows missing file problem, which the tests will eventually get to, but I'm wondering if this is the type of problem that should make me think twice about continuing to use it, or what...

Answer : Problem: Motherboard system timer failed test

Hard to say how serious it is, but you should check into it.
Might just be a loose connection or bad bios setting. Could be the motherboard is on the way out.
