Question : Problem: BOD- AmdLLD.sys
Running Dual-boot XP Pro and Vista Ultimate over 1yr. Installed new mobo Asus M3N78 Pro, CPU AMD Phenom x3 (8450) and RAM G-Skill DDR@ 800 PC2-6400 (4gigs). Booting to Vista gets BOD. message: AmdLLD.sys address 92A32CAE base at 92A2D000 date stamp 454906a4. SafeMode booting works but Windows Installer service won't start in safemode so some items that MAY fix won't install. Also included support CD does not work in Vista, even direct access many dlls won't load. XP everything works fine! Updated Bios - no change, copied newer version of AmdLLD.sys from "C" (XP) to "K" (Ultimate)-no change. Any suggestions.
Answer : Problem: BOD- AmdLLD.sys
Ok, got the Vista disk and got a FreeAgent Pro backup drive. Was afraid to try this because Mobo and CPU are new, will attempt and let you know. Thanx.
