Question : Problem: changing registered owner of macbook

I am selling my new Mac Book and want to "de-register" myself as the owner so the new owner can see their name.  How do I do this?

I would recommend that you just format the machine and allow the new owner to set it up themselves with their name and be able to register. This will also provide them with a brand new notebook experience.
