Question : Problem: server hangs during boot at network

I have a dell 1750 server, running 2003 that is set up with 3 drives/raid 5.  A drive failed.  The failed drive was removed and replaced/rebuilt.  After a reboot of the server, the server hangs during the boot process initializing the network service.  The network information shows on the screen then drops down to a cursor on a blank line but doesn't go anywhere from there.  I checked to make sure that there is activity lights on the card and the network cable is connected to the network.  Since I am not able to get to any prompts, I don't have clue where else to check.  What do I need to do/check to get past this step?
