Question : Problem: screen saver/power settings do not turn monitors off

Something has happened and my screen saver/energy monitor power down have stopped working.  This happened a few weeks ago.  I have since installed a NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GN vedio adapter and a second monitor.  If I logo off my user ID then the monitors turn off at the appropriate time.

Latest versions usually work fine - or you can get the newest one that isn't a beta - your choice. There'll be no difference for what you have to do.
