Any data traveling between the two is very secure as you have a private tunnel, using good (IPSec) encryption, and with site to site there are no open/forwarded ports. Probably the biggest risk is a site to site tunnel effectively makes both sites part of the same network. If the home network has any high risk activities, such as little Johny playing on-line games, or downloading questionable files that may contain viruses, you are putting the office network at the same risk as the home network. If that is not a concern you should be in good shape.
