Question : Problem: IBM server gives black screen with No boot filename recived and also Invalid partition table
Came in in the morning the server is down. It's IBM E server xSeries. When reboot it doesn't go farther then the black screen with the following text:
PXE-E53: No boot file received
PXE-MOF: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM
Invalid partition table
Is there any chance to revive the server?
Promt help would be very appreciated!
Answer : Problem: IBM server gives black screen with No boot filename recived and also Invalid partition table
You may have problem with either array controller or disks failure. Sometime, the disks become offline after a power outage. Did you see any bios option to get in your storage controller?
