Question : Problem: how do i flash a BIOS

Year 2000 AMI BIOS # 686 GC (copyright) 2000  AB44  sn: 399

Just instd a 20GB WD HDD as an upgrade from a 10GB WD HDD for a nonprofit.
When trying to install XP Pro, PC ABENDS the install citing ACPI and BIOS downlevel.

Please tell me if I need to update the BIOS or if the year 1999 onboard HDD controller is unable to support the 20GB HDD.

If I need to flash the BIOS, please provide a URL to the procedure.
