Question : Problem: Boot problems with IBM 6840-T2U Netvista

Hello,

I am having a bit of trouble with a IBM 6840-T2U Netvista machine. The problem is that when I turn on the computer and I wait for the BIOS screen or anything to appear on the monitor nothing does. I have all the correct componets which are needed for the operation of the machine. What could be the problem?

                                                                       Thank You in Advance

Answer : Problem: Boot problems with IBM 6840-T2U Netvista

It could just be a dead machine. If it is still under warranty, your best choice of action now is to call IBM.

If it is not, you will have to troubleshoot it step by step and this will require you to have spare components to do swaps and testing.
