Question : Problem: Multiple Calendar collaboration with Outlook and Blackberry
|
|
A client called me with a puzzling issue. The secretary wants to manage four peoples calendars who only use Blackberries. Because they are on the road, they don't want to have to sync to a PC of any kind. The secretary needs to be able to edit and manage the 4 calendars in Outlook from her PC while the salesman use only their handhelds. Is a hosted Blackberry service the way to go? Or is there a product from RIM that i can get them. They don't have and will not buy a server, so Enterprise is out. They use AOL, and other POP3 email.

So typical that they want all the advanced functionality without the cost! Ah well.
The only way to achieve live calendar sync without synching with a PC and without BES is a hosted solution.
Sorry I can't say any more but this is just how it is.
Let me know if you need any more info.
