Question : Problem: HP JetDirect Not Working

We have an old HP 8000 series laserjet that was moved from one building to the other.  In that time, the JetDirect card stopped working, but I think it may be a "setting issue"  Here is what the JetDirect configuration page prints.  Any clue what I'm doing wrong?

HP JETDIRECT J3113A
PORT SELECT:  NONE
PORT CONFIG:  DISCONNECTED
AUTO NEGOTIONATION:  ON
I/O CARD NOT READY    OE
LAN ERROR - LOSS OF CARRIER

If the card is loose and causing this then reseating will fix it.  It is worth a try.

The "loss of carrier" part of the error usually means bad cable, hub, etc related to the network connection.  Do you have another network printer or device you can try plugging into this connection?  Does it work?
