Question : Problem: Mapping network share through active directory
Here is my scenario I need to path all users to a new location for their data.
The data will reside on a lacie file sharing device.
Currently their data is on fileserver1 on the n drive.
Once the data has been copied to the new location what would be the best way to path them to the new location using active directory?
The outgoing network admin said he was going to use active directory to do the pathing.
Answer : Problem: Mapping network share through active directory
Go to each user's properties, 'Profile' tab and specify the home folder as any drive letter you want. Provide the UNC path for each of the user's shared folder.
