Question : Problem: Need to know how to change IP address on printer

Just recently got a used  HP Laserjet 8150 series printer.  I printed out the onfiguration page which shows an ip address of 128.29.135.227.  Our private IP address on our lan is not the same as the printers.  How can I change the ip address?  I tried using Web jetadmin. It does  see the device under "New Device," however I don't know where I go to change the IP address.

Web jetadmin is running on Windows XP

Any ideas?

You can navigate through the menu on the printer to reset it.
I'm not at one now, but from memory, there's a network setup - tcpip - and a bootp/dhcp setting.
Make sure that's set to dhcp - then power cycle the printer.
