Question : Problem: Backup Exec is unable to backup files/folders containing mutated vowels (umlaut)

I'm running a Win2003 Server with Backup Exec 11d.
I've multiple Linux Servers which i wanna backup using the Backup Exec Linux Agent.
This works fine so far, but Backup Exec doesn't backup the files/folders containing any country specific special letters like ä ü ö and so on...
The message is about the following:
"Folder not found. Cannot backup Folder or any of its subfolders" (Symantec Error V-79-57344-33967)
Is there a way to fix this, maybe a setting in Backup Exec...? We cannot rename the files/folders cause it is the data of our customers.
