Question : Problem: Problems reading NTFS drive on Apple Mac

Greetings,
A friend of mine is trying to back up personal files on Apple Mac to a NTFS formatted drive.
We downloaded MacFUSE and NTFS-3G 1.2531 and installed them but we are now faced with a kextload error.
We called up the MAC prompt and tpyed in kextload -t to find out what the problem is but we're not getting any results back.
Can someone help us with the problem.
