Question : Problem: iPod Stuck at 0:00
|
|
Just got an 8gb nano for christmas. I took it to Big Bear with me and left it in the car while I went snowboarding. When I came back it won't play any songs.
It turns on, and the clickwheel works, and the everything else about it is fine. The only problem is that when I try to play any song, the ipod just stays at 0:00 and it won't do anything. The click wheel works, I can pause, fast forward, rewind, etc. so I don't know what's wrong with it.
I've tried resetting it, I've even downgraded the firmware from 1.2.1 to 1.0 and it still won't play. Anybody have any ideas?
P.S. I've seen this problem all over google with no fixes for it.

itsluy,
Have you contacted Apple? It would seem like this would fall under a warranty. I have seen cold temperatures adversly affect ipods. The effects usually reverse when the ipod is left to site for a while at room temperature and charged. If that hasn't fixed yours then I would say it is defective.
Let me know if you have any questions or need more information. Let me know how this helps.
