Question : Problem: no sound!

Ok,good luck on this one. Got a Dell 8400 that came with a sound blaster live 24-bit sound card,Iv'e been working with Dell but no solution. They replaced the motherboard twice and soundcard,what is happing is that my commuter does not see the sound card. I have a internal sound device that works,but want my soundcard back. disabled internal sound,but everytime i try to install software for soundcard the computer says there is no hardwareto be found. ANY IDEAS?

Answer : Problem: no sound!

Have a solution. modem card. took it out . sound works great!!!!! Thanks
