Question : Problem: 2 x D-Link DI-804HV Setting up a point to point VPN

I have 2 D-link DI-804HV VPN Routers. I am wanting to set up a link between My Fathers small office and our home network. Both of these routers are in place and working as Internet routers. The DHCP settings are set up so that each router gives out seperate ranges of addresses within the 192.168.0.0 subnet. I am wanting to bridge the networks in the most secure way possible. I thought using two Identical VPN routers should help compatibility. Although the D-Link manual contains information about what the different settings do. There is no step by step gide to setting up a VPN. I have read up a bit on VPN's using "Virtual Private Networking For Dummies". If anyone has expierience with this paticular VPN router who could give me pointers I would appreciate it.
One Router has a Fixed IP address. The other does not but might in the future.
