Question : Problem: Sound card inputs

Does anyone in this forum know of any particular sound cards that have a 1/4" stereo input jack on them? I have a customer that wants to connect an electric guitar to a sound card input. Does that sound possible??

There are plenty of cards out there with that capability.  In many cases, they have an external unit that you would actually plug the cables into.  I'm sure someone can give some recommendations if you decide to go that route.  The easiest and cheapest solution, depending on what hardware they have currently, could be to just buy an adapter to convert the 1/4" plug into the normal input size.  I picked one up at Radio Shack for a few bucks not too long ago.
