Question : Problem: Problem updating BIOS

I have HP7905 with an ASUS P4B-LA motherboard.The updating process stops at the step "Initializing Flash Memory Type" while I'm trying to update its BIOS. After that computer doesn't respond any more and needs to be rebooted.

Are you sure that you are using the correct BIOS update? The HP website lists 2 different BIOS flases. Looks like they used different motherboards. Check here, and read the instructions for flashing your BIOS.
