Question : Problem: Email sync between outlook 2000 and treo 650 - no email accounts found

I'm trying to set up versamail 3.0 (the email app packaged with the treo 650) to sync with outlook 2000 (9.0.06627). I just want to download all my emails from outlook to the treo. During the desktop setup the second step asks you to identify the source for the sync. There are two options here - sync with an email account on this PC or select a mail service. The first option (sync with email on this PC) appears it should detect outlook emails and present a list. The problem is that it doesn't detect any on my pc and so the option is disabled. There are 5 working emial accounts set up in outlook, but it doesnt find any. Does this have anything to do with MS's latest security stupidity which also snafued attachments? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

make sure you do a regular sync b4 you sync your mail
