Question : Problem: How do I recover data from DDS4 tapes when the original writing software is unknown?

Hi, I recently acquired a business where I found 4 DDS4 backup tapes in the safe. I want to see what's on them - they may contain valuable customer and accounting data. Problem is, the tape software and tape drive used to write the tapes is unknown.
I would like a cheap solution to read and recover the data on the tapes. I have already acquired a refurbished HP DDS4 drive and controller. It runs fine under Windows Small Business Server 2003 as I verified by HP Tape Tools.
Anyone?
