Question : Problem: How do I allow PPTP VPN on Apple AIrport Extreme Base Station?

I need to connect to an external network using VPN and the Citrix Program Neighborhood application.

I have a Vista Ultimate machine using an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station for my internet connection.  I created the VPN and double checked all the info. I am unable to connect  to the external network. I assume I need to allow PPTP VPN through the router.

Can anyone walk me through how to do this?  I have been in the AirPort Utility for over and hour and can't figure it out.  I have not been able to find a user manual online.

Thank you!

Answer : Problem: How do I allow PPTP VPN on Apple AIrport Extreme Base Station?

I have two Apple Airports at home with no additional configuration and am able to do all outbound PPTP and Citrix with no restraint. Do you have any software firewalls or any restrictions set up on your Vista machine?

I've noticed Vista is very "locked down" and even when I've tried file sharing I couldn't get it to work quite right, so double check all of your settings.
