Question : Problem: Routing Statements on an HP 5412zl

We are setting up our network to use a proxy server & would like to avoid pushing out the proxy settings to our clients (and guests) - that said, we were looking at maybe taking our core switch (HP 5412zl) & writing a routing statement that takes all port 80 & port 443 traffic & re-directs it to ProxyServer:1300, thus enabling the traffic to filter through directly.

First of all - am I missing anything....second of all, can an HP 5412zl even do routing statements & can it be done through the web interface?

Thanks!

Answer : Problem: Routing Statements on an HP 5412zl

We presently use ISA for our wired PC's. Setup with the ISA firewall clients.

To avoid toutching student's PC's we also have different setup.
For wireless users we have AP's connected to a box doing filtering & NAT
- leading to a L3 routing sw. with static routing to the internal servers network and DGW set to internet router.

I have not worked with ASA, but I think it can be done:
