Question : Problem: 4GB RAM in a XP 32bit, will it cause problems?

I have 4GB DDR2 installed in a machine running XP MCE 32bit. I know it cant be recognized fully by 32bit OSes, and I accept that.

That being said:

Is leaving all the DIMMs in the machine going to cause problems? Or should I remove 1-2GB?

Please share your sources so I am better informed.

The maximu that can be used is 3.5GB having all 4 in there is not going to cause an issue providing that your motherboard supports 4GB of Ram which it should also to support the DDR2 function you have to have the sticks installed in pairs.
