Question : Problem: Recommend for online backup
I've been using Mozy Home service for backing up data to an online location. It's only $5/mo and provides 20GB. It had always worked well. Recently, I've been getting my Internet connection dropped while using the service. They also no longer have any tech support. Tech support is a deal breaker for me.
Can anyone recommend an online backup service with these features:
- Around $5/mo
- Around 20GB storage
- Encryption
- Automated backup software
- At most one day turn around on tech support
- Reliable
- Can view backed up files through their website or desktop app
- Works with Vista (and Mac would be good)
And also you have actually used the service.
Answer : Problem: Recommend for online backup
Hi brettr,
I don't have any experience with SOS, but it looks like they limit home users to 15GB for $50/yr.
Business users can go up to 20 GB for $360/yr, but that is more than you want to pay, correct?
