Question : Problem: I cannot get a daily backup set up on my small business server?

I have installed a backup software called Yosemite but I keep getting this error:

I also have tried the windows backup software but it cannot backup to the media device - dell rd100, 120gb removable hard disk.

I have a dell backup software but I havent installed it.  Has anyone any idea why yosemite and windows wont work?

Generally you can test a backup by restoring a single file from it.

"How do I get the disk to eject automatically? "

I don't believe you can do that with an RD1000.  But if you saw documentation, then I'd suspect it was the official documentation from Dell?  http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/stor-sys/RD1000/en/ug/setup.htm
