Question : Problem: VPN Connection Problem
Hi Everyone,
I am having a problem a Windows 2000 AD Domain VPN connection. I can connect from the internet thru a Linksys router to the VPN server (which is also the PDC and the WINS server), but I cannot browse the LAN.
I cannot ping the other servers only the RRAS server but the netBIOS name does get resolved by the WINS database because it translates the computer name to the correct IP address as opposed to the "unknown host message" I was getting before using WINS. But these requests just time out.
I would love to be able to browse the network neighbourhood from my VPN connected client machine, or at the very least use command line drive mappings. I have a feeling this is a routing problem but I thought WINS would fix that. Do I need to add some IP routes via the RRAS snap-in to the other servers?
Don't know where to go from here on this.
