Question : Problem: Using an SSL from a mobile phone reports "This site has sent an untrusted Certificate"
I have a customer whom accesses a web site via an SSL happily. There is also a mobile site to this SSL web site. Using Windows Mobile 6 on an MDA it works fine and the certificate is accepted as normal. If I I use a Nokia N95 and its browser I get a message saying "This site has sent an untrusted Certificate" I can view the certificate and all seems valid and fine.
I must assume from this that its the browser on the phone not the certificate and the way it uses SSL's
Answer : Problem: Using an SSL from a mobile phone reports "This site has sent an untrusted Certificate"
This was solved as the SSL was modified to allow "root certs" for all mobiles. IT also required a new "intermediate CA" to be applied. Once applied the SSL issue on the Nokia N95 was fixed
