Question : Problem: Keyboard key stops working, external keyboard same key does not work then it starts working

One of my keyboard letters does not work and even an external keyboard plugged in does not work as well.  Then is starts to work again.  Any idea?

if laptop, try to remocve reseat the keyboard cable
