Question : Problem: Ghost halts with 99% done and never comlpeted.
Created a restoration DVD using Ghost 8.3. The image was 5GB and had to span it over 2 parts. The first DVD had the batch file ti start the ghost restoration along with the first image file test1234.gho and the second DVD had the 2nd image test1201.ghs. The batch file starts ghost then asks for the next span. I insert the second DVD and it contiues. It stops at 99% completed and halts. WHY....
Batch file: ghost -clone,mode=load,src=x:\te
st1234.gho
,dst=1 -sure -fx
Treid different switch but same results just stop at 99%.
Answer : Problem: Ghost halts with 99% done and never comlpeted.
If I recall correctly, the process creation the ghost image (spanning into several discs), you will need the 1st disc to insert in and finish the process. I dont know if newer version will have what you want. Let wait for other experts comment in.
