Question : Problem: Bypass Concentrator settings for LAN access

I am running 4.0.3 Cisco VPN Client and need to have access to my local LAN when connected to work.  My work's concentrator is set to not allow Local Lan Access.  One of the techs told me he could create a seperate group for me but I didn't want to make him go thru the trouble if he didn't have to.  He said he thought he read that there is a work around to allowing lan access even if the concentrator was blocking it.  I have a bunch of drives mapped to my Linux Server and need access to those drives while connected to VPN.  My home machine is connected to a Linksys router but didn't think the router's VPN settings were for anything besides if you were running a VPN server.
Anybody know of any work arounds?

Thanks.

Answer : Problem: Bypass Concentrator settings for LAN access

Your Admin should create a separate group for you.  Your admin will need your subnet info to create a network list.  The network list is attached to the new group and local lan access is then set to allow.
