It has the feature of blinking to sound. the whole light lights up, its what I wanted but not actually. this is what I like it to do

I was wondering is there a kit out there that will let me hook up my cathode lights up to it and do that meter effect? i would build one myself but I dont know a lot about electronic circuits>
