Question : Problem: Ram speed != motherboard supported speed.

Hi,

A motherboard supports PC2-6400, PC2-5300 RAM speeds, but the ram is only PC2-5400, will it work but run at the lower supported speed of PC2-5300?

Answer : Problem: Ram speed != motherboard supported speed.

Your RAM should work in your computer. As you stated it will run at the lower speeds, but it will work. I would recommend that you do upgrade in the future for better performance (ram is cheap) in the future.
