Question : Problem: LCD replacement for 14.1 SXGA for HP compaq nc6220 Bussiness notebook ,Centrino,!gig DDR2 120HDD

I have a HP compaq nc6220 bussiness notebook. It is a wonderful machine and the Centrino really does speed things up.I recently dropped it and broke the screen
so the screen is not coverd on my warranty.Can I use a different 14.1 SXGA LCD, I have a few around one is from a Tecra M2 one is from a Compaq Evo N610c,the inverters for these screens are different and the harnesses for both are different from the nc6220.Can I just get a new inverter for one of these screens and if so how do I know wich one to get? The price for a new Boey-Hydi HT14P12-101 is $595.I am a college student and the computer was a gift.My funds are limited so any alternatives are helpful.
