Question : Problem: Troubleshooting Motherboard Issues

I am trying to build a machine.

I have a ASUS P4PE Motherboard Intel 845PE Chipset DDR333 and I installed it into a new case.

I have a GEForce3 video card and modem installed in the PCI slots and a 512MB chip installed as far as memory.

Now... I am done with the installation and I've used the manual to make sure it's installed properly!

However, when I turn on the power, everything seems to be working, but the monitor won't turn on.

I get NO BEEPS or anything! All the fans are working. And the CD-ROM and Hard Drive is on!

What might be wrong?

Answer : Problem: Troubleshooting Motherboard Issues

I also see that you do not mention what CPU you are trying to use.

Is it compatible with your motherboard?

Dose the motherboard have the correct bios ver. for the cpu to be compatible?
