Question : Problem: How do I setup MAPI on Black Berry Enterprise Server (BES).

I'm trying to install a new Black Berry Enterprise Server in my domain, First I tried connecting to the old D.B. and it said that only one BES per domain. I uninstalled the old server? Second, I'm doing a clean install on a new server 2003 and I'm getting the message that MAPI subsystem cannot be correctly initialized and used. Please make sure MAPI is installed and configured. Under my exchange server under my BESAdmin account I have MAPI enabled. I"m not sure what else to do.

Answer : Problem: How do I setup MAPI on Black Berry Enterprise Server (BES).

You need to have the MAPI / CDO installed on your BES server.  DO NOT install the Microsoft Outlook client on your BES server.
You can find the MAPI / CDO from support.microsoft.com
lookup the compatible MAPI/CDO for your Exchange environment here:

Good luck!
