Question : Problem: USB modem under Delphi

Hi everyone, I've been using Async Pro for years to send fax via Com ports but these days it's hard to find such modem since they are all USB.

I'm not sure if there's any way for me to use Async Pro with a USB modem but, if not, what would be the best tool to fax a simple BMP file?

I'm seeking a Delphi 5 solution  but would accept a Delphi 2007 one.

I'm almost certain that any USB modem will provide a simulated comport, meaning that you can use it like any 'normal' modem.
Only thing you should check is that the tools you use to communicate with the modem supports more then just com1 .. com4, because the simulated com ports often have very high numbers (i.e. com36)
