Question : Problem: How do I scan multiple pages without preview with HP Scanjet 5P and Deskscan 2.9
|
|
I want to scan multiple pages as quickly as possible on my Scanjet 5P preferrably to pdf.
I used to use the HP accupage ISIS driver to scan into Adobe Acrobat 3.1. in Win98. But after switching to W2K and Acrobat 6.0, this option is gone.
So now I'm using the Deskscan 2.9. In this application, the preview window comes up as default, and I haven't found a way to turn it off. Have tried tweaking the deskscan.ini file, but without documentation I haven't been able to remove the preview window.
So how can I scan multiple pages into an existing PDF by just hitting enter whenever a new sheet is put in the scanner?

You can use Adobe Acrobat 6.0 to scan the file to .pdf extention. Click File => Import => Scan => select multiple page and click Scan button.
And if you still have some page need to be scanned into the existing document then you just open this existing document and redo a scanning again: Click File => Import => Scan and make sure you have tick "Append to current document" => Select multiple page and click Scan button.
Let me know if you still have any problems. Good Luck!
