Question : Problem: USB mouse freezes

One of my clients has a mouse that freezes/pauses everytime he uses it.  It started with his logictec wireless mouse so I replaced it with an HP USB mouse, tried other USB ports, reinstalled the USB ports, updated the drivers and replaced the motherboard but it's still having the same issue.  If we use a PS/2 mo0use it works fine.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

is there a USB hub or are there other USB devices plugged in?  if so, try eliminating ALL other USB devices, and if that works, try re-plugging each removed USB device and see if it re-occurs.

I don't have an explanation, I've just seen it before...
