Question : Problem: Backup directly to tape using DLO

Is there any way to backup my desktops and laptops directly to tape using the DLO in Backup Exec 12 ? I can backup the systems to the server but due to space limitations I'd like to back up directly to tape.

DLO works on replication and there is absolutely no way that you can backup DLO data directly to tape
