Question : Problem: Store.exe high after Backup

Hello.

I have been having problems with my Exchange backup failing because of the snapshot isn't processing. I have went through the error code on Symantec's website that pointed to some issues with Volume Shadow copy.  I have corrected those issues and I did a successful backup, however when the backup starts my store.exe process goes form using 360MB of memory to 3GB of memory.  Then when it goes to run the next time I get the Volume shadow copy memory error.  If I restart the MS info store it resets to 360MB, however I don't want to have to do that after every backup.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I would still try the other items provided.  Are you doing a disk to disk for the mail store or everything to tape?  If you're doing straight to tape you will not be able to restore individual mailboxes or emails from tape, you will need to restore to disk and then you can do granular recovery, just FYI
