Question : Problem: Accessing HP LTO Ultrium tape data?

Hi All,

We have an LTO Ultrium tape drive which backs up files every night at one of our sites, I can see from the logs that this is successful (using NTBackup), but how do I actually access the data?

data written to tape is not like data written to a hard drive, CD, or DVD.
A tape unlike a disk does not have an OS format and system files to make it appear as a volume.
The tape does have a catalog of its contents and NT Backup is used to read it.
However as stated above to be able to access any of the data it has to be restored back to disk.
