Question : Problem: Can not find the internal raid controller on PowerEdge 2550
I am trying to setup the server with Raid 5 with 3 identical hard drives. I have read both question on experts exchange and I see how to set up the raid, however, I am unable to access the internal raid controller menu. I have press
repeatedly through the entire start up process and still will not deviate to the menu.
So thank in advance to anyone that can shed some light on the matter.
Answer : Problem: Can not find the internal raid controller on PowerEdge 2550
Go into BIOS then check your Integrated Devices and make sure the Channels are set to RAID not just SCSI.
Reboot and look for the Raid Controller prompt during POST
