Question : Problem: Mustek 600 III EP Plus Scanner -need software - not available on Mustek site anymore

Hi,
I have a Mustek 600 III EP Plus scanner and the software has been misplaced.  I went to the Mustek site, but it can no longer be purchased.  Only the driver can be downloaded.  I don't know a whole lot about computers and would appreciate anyone who could tell me where I might get a copy of the software if Mustek no longer has it, or is a driver all I need to install this on my computer?  Thanks very much.

Well, the driver should provide you with the basic access to the scanner, so that you can use another image editing program (Photoshop, Photodraw, PaintShop Pro, etc) to get the pictures into the computer.  Generally, you would use the command "File->Acquire->TWAIN Source" or something like File->Import->TWAIN Source.

Does this help?  Do you have one of these programs, or another image editing program you can use to acquire images?
