Question : Problem: Problem with restoring image from external HDD

Hi

Im trying to restore an image created with Symantec Solutions Suite 2.5.
When I created the image I placed it on an external HDD.
Now when I boot up on another machine to restore the image, I can access Ghost, all partitions are visible, including the external, but when I shall choose the image file to restore from, I choose from the drop down list the external HDD, and I get the error message: Error 8027 : An internal inconsistency has been detected. If this problem persists, contact Symantec Technical Suppo&
I have tried to copy the image file to another external HDD, but still same response.
I have tried another computer to restore the image to, (I have 7 identical laptops who shall have this image), but again exact same response.

The laptops are running Windows Vista 32-bit business

Can anyone help me with this problem please?!

Kind regards Tommy

Maybe this will work

"These messages appear to be due to problem with how Ghost performs caching. To resolve the problem, use the -WS- and -WD- switches to turn off Ghost caching:

Ghost.exe -ws- -wd- OR better try using all these switches

Ghost.exe -FNI -FFX -NOIDE -NOUSB -ws- -wd-

It has worked with me.
