Question : Problem: Network adapters missing ?
We have an e-machine w3080 . Recently we noticed it was running a bit sluggish so we decided to format it. Everything went smoothly until it came time to update windows. We needed an internet connection . Now normally I am able to plug the ethernet cord in and instantly we have a connection . But today as our bad luck would have it.. For some reason the e-machine is not recognizing our network adapter. How do I know this? I went into the device manager and where there is usually a network adapter listed there is nothing. It doesn't even say Network adapter its completely missing.
I've tried rebooting our computer and short of formating it AGAIN I am at a loss as what to do .
Any suggestions?
I am almost positive the network card is still good.
Is there anything that can be done?
