Question : Problem: Macbook Pro Gray Screen Boot
Hello All -
I ran the security updates on my MBP and shut it down for the night. Next morning, I couldnt start up my laptop. It gets stuck on the gray gears spinning around.
Here is what I did already in attempts to fix it.
1.) Boot in safe mode - Let it ran for 2 hours, same result stuck at gray screen/spinning gears.
2.) Boot with CMD + S = Ran disk check on with the command fsck -fy and resulted in "The volume HD seems to be OK."
3.) Boot with CMD + OPTION + P + R (3 times)= Same results at gray screen/spinning gears.
4.) OPT + V = And it seesm to be stuck at "CiscoVPN: loading cisco ipsec kernal module."
With that - i rebooted in Single User Mode (CMD +S) and attempted to uninstall CiscoVPN client.
I can't seem to find my install disk so Archive and Install is not an option now.
Please help!
