Question : Problem: 3DMark Crashing

Have just installed a Radeon X1900XTX. It seems to be going fine, but when I run 3dmark to benchmark it I am getting an error message towards the end of the first test.

IDirect3DVertexBuffer::Lock failed: n/a (Unknown)

3dmark ran on this pc with the previous video card.

Running Vista Home Premium
Quad Core 2.66 Ghz
3071 MB RAM
512MB Video RAM
32 Bit
Any ideas.

Mike

Answer : Problem: 3DMark Crashing

I'm sure I've seen ATI claiming this was fixed with the new DX.
garycase is right though you've more chance with this working with drivers only.
Are you using the Vantage version of 3DMark?
Bottom line is the fault is far more likely to be with the software than your card.
